This series of lectures marks the anniversary of the coronation of James VI in the church. The series has become something of a social and intellectual 'event' in Stirling's cultural year, with some excellent speakers and a lively audience.
This year's event promises to be well up to standard. The speaker is Professor Richard Fawcett, formerly of Historic Scotland an the University of St Andrews, speaking on 'Stirling's Holy Rude; it's state by the reign of James VI'. The event begins at 7.30pm.
There is no formal charge but donations to the organ fund are invited.
