On 25th Feb Dr Lucy Dean, of the University of Stirling, will be speaking on "Projecting ‘Princelie Majestie’ in the Reign of James V: Ceremony, Ritual and the Visible Monarch".
This is a change from the programme originally published but promises to be an interesting talk and particularly relevant to Stirling as the site of one of James V's major residences, the recently- recreated Stirling Castle Palace.
As usual the meeting is at 19.30 in the Smith Art Gallery and Museum. Members free (students and under 18s can join free); we ask non=members to make a modest contribution.
