The first of the Spring lecture series hosted by the Friends of the (Stirling) Smith will be held at the Smith Art Gallery and Museum, Dumbarton Rd, Stirling on Monday 26th January at 7.30pm, admission £5 at the door (£4 for Friends).
The subject is Scottish Pewter and the talk is by Dr Peter Spencer-Davies, former president of the Pewter Society, who has just published the definitive account of Scottish Pewter. It will be illustrated by examples from the Smith's own collection of pewter.

On 30th March by Colin Tennent on Historic Scotland's Forthside Conservation Centre, currently undergoing development.
