Recent work by SLHS member Stephen Digney throws new light on the development of the King's Park. Using LIDAR data to map relic features, he explores the survival of cultivation remains, the old race course and the mysterious Park Loch, amongst other features; there are updates, too, on the King's Knot and the Haining. It is a wonderful demonstration of how new methods can enrich and enlarge our understanding.
