“David Robertson, the author of several little books on the heritage of Perthshire published by the Friends of Perth & Kinross Council Archive, would be interested to hear from any Member of the Society (or anyone known to the Society) who would have a knowledge of the history of the parishes which used to form the western parts of Perthshire, but which are now under the jurisdiction of Stirling Council. He is currently researching the lost country houses of the old County of Perthshire, including the nine former western parishes now in Stirling, and is particularly keen to know more about any houses in these parishes which might have been pulled down or abandoned.”
